CHICAGO – Laura Jacquin, RN, Partner at Prism Healthcare Partners LTD, was selected to lead a seminar at the Healthcare Financial Management Association’s (HFMA) 2016 National Institute (ANI). Jacquin will co-present with Michele Palmer, RHIT, Director of Facility Coding and Clinical Documentation Improvement for United Health Services (UHS) on “Plateau-Busting: Take Your CDI Program to the Next Level to Maximize Impact” on Tuesday, June 28 at 9:30 AM.

Using UHS’s Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI) program as a case study, Jacquin and Palmer will share tools and tactics to elevate and sustain CDI programs for maximum impact. Session attendees will learn best practices to:

  • Identify strategies and steps to recruit, hire, and retain CDI talent
  • Secure physician engagement, leadership, and support for a CDI program
  • Define CDI program benchmarks to achieve optimal performance
